Ree Katrak

The subject matter of the work originates from memory and imagination and is utterly organic. However, I find that I am strongly influenced by the Northern California coast where I grew up and by the New Hampshire coast where I presently live. Water is a recurring theme and the colors and patterns I use are very evocative of these places.
